Sigmar are exclusively partnered with a leading global firm seeking a Senior Vendor Manager to drive strategic commercial success. This key role offers you the opportunity to lead and shape vendor relationships, negotiate key commercial agreements and optimise the supplier portfolio.
Responsibilities include:
* Lead commercial negotiations to achieve vendor funding, marketing, and price support, while building partner plans. Interface with trading, commercial performance, finance, planning, supply chain, and sales performance teams.
* Represent the company at Group Global Central Procurement Sessions to maximize commercial negotiations and strategy. Report on vendor performance and group initiatives.
* Manage operational relationships with vendors and collaborate with the internal teams to bring innovative products to market.
* Support internal stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle, including sales, marketing, and operational issue resolution.
* Develop an understanding of customer segmentation, strategies, key tariffs, and price plans, and maintain awareness of the competitive marketplace.
* Ensure internal stakeholders understand vendor goals to support long-term planning.
* Act as the vendor representative, managing all touchpoints and communications for both consumer and business.
* Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews, provide vendor account updates to C-Level, and manage senior management vendor engagement, including insights.
* Manage Senior Management performance cascades on vendor funding and recovery.
* Create vendor funding budgets and collaborate with finance on reforecasting.
* Work with the Senior Product Manager to understand vendor roadmaps, launches, and product lifecycle for future commercial negotiations.
* Manage the Commercial Vendor Team's priorities.
* Support Finance in recovering agreed vendor funding quarterly.
About you:
* Proven experience of leading a commercial team to maximize vendor funding and achieve budget goals in a fast-paced multinational environment.
* Excellence in communication with vendors and senior management.
* Established track record of developing and executing vendor strategies, fostering strong relationships.
* Demonstrated strong business acumen and expertise in commercial contract negotiation.
* Substantiated background in managing internal stakeholders to create opportunities in pricing, propositions, sales, marketing, procurement, and legal.
* Strong understanding of legal processes for vendor contracts, NDAs, and branding agreements, including comprehension of EU and local regulations impacting product portfolios and agreements.
* Identify commercial risks associated with current and future product portfolios.
