HVAC Engineer Role
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to join our team at Veolia in Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of all HVAC day-to-day operational activities
* Ensuring compliance with site requirements for planned and unplanned maintenance activities
* BUILDING AND MAINTAINING CUSTOMER FOCUS AND RELATIONS ON SITE, ENSURING ISSUES ARE RESPONDED TO IN A TIMELY MANNER
* Assisting the HVAC contractor in troubleshooting and problem-solving when required
* Liaising with contractors on site and ensuring all works are completed to site standards
* Compiling project scopes and estimates
* Implementing projects to the highest standards, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
* Generating Design Change documentation and completing all change control to site standard including P+IDs
* Completing quality test plans and relevant documentation
* Coordinating Temperature Mapping and Transport Studies, ensuring timely completion
* Liaising with Quality to prepare and participate in internal and external audits
* Ensuring HVAC asset replacement strategy is maintained and up to date
* Assisting with on-site deviations, CAPAs, Risk assessments, and RCIs
* Surveying and implementing energy reduction programmes and projects on site
* Completing BBS walk downs on behalf of the Technical Services group
* Driving reliability engineering and reliability-centred maintenance (RCM)
* Trouble-shooting and high-level investigation of utility plant equipment faults and failures - root cause analysis
* Compliance/quality engineering - recording and investigation of deviations on qualified utility plant and equipment, using client's quality system
* Identifying, liaising with, and coordinating Service Providers and suppliers on site
Requirements:
* Engineering degree or trade equivalent, preferably mechanical or building services
* 3+ years' postgraduate experience
* Previous HVAC experience essential
* Awareness of working with Atex/Hazardous Area equipment
* Self-motivation, ability to work alone and as part of a team
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
