We are currently looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join one of our well-established clients in County Dublin. As a Duty Manager, you will oversee daily store operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage staff during their shifts. You will maintain high store standards, handle customer inquiries, and create a smooth, efficient, and safe shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily store operations, ensuring that staff deliver excellent customer service and that the store runs efficiently.
2. Supervise, train, and motivate the store team, ensuring they follow company policies and procedures.
3. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards at all times.
4. Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns promptly, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
5. Monitor stock levels and work with the inventory team to ensure shelves remain stocked and organized.
6. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on store performance, including sales figures, staffing levels, and operational issues.
Experience & Skills:
1. Previous experience in a retail environment, with supervisory or management experience highly preferred.
2. Experience in a grocery store or similar setting is a plus.
3. Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with both customers and staff.
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
5. Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and other relevant software.
6. Ability to perform well under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
