Moulding Process Engineer
Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled Moulding Process Engineer to oversee the control and management of process-driven systems within the Injection Moulding department.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement new tools, ensuring efficient debugging, setup, and validation.
* Optimise processes using Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Methodology to improve overall quality and process capability.
* Ensure the control of quality, process capability, and associated documentation, driving continuous improvement.
* Analyse and troubleshoot process, equipment, and systems problems using sound engineering principles and data-driven decisions.
* Provide training and support to Production Technicians, promoting a culture of excellence.
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to drive process improvements.
* Cultivate a culture of integrity, ethics, and compliance with laws and policies, fostering a collaborative environment across organisational boundaries.
Requirements:
* Degree-level qualification in Polymer Science or a relevant Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, essential for effective collaboration.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively.
* Proficiency in operating various moulding machine types and associated ancillary equipment.
* Able to work on a shift-based contract, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills, with strong analysis and decision-making abilities.
