Job Title: EHS Specialist
Working Pattern:Full time, permanent. Monday to Thursday: 08:00-16:30 & Friday: 08:00-15:30.
Reporting to the EHS Manager, the EHS Specialist will support the company EHS management system. You will be responsible for providing technical support on all environmental, health and safety systems to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, guidelines, and best practices.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Support the EHS Manager.
* Ensure compliance with our EHS management system.
* Conduct risk assessments of work activities and provide support to managers carry them out.
* Create method statements for work activities and review contractor method statements for accuracy.
* Perform audits to ensure compliance with company EHS management system and legislation.
* Carry out training on EHS systems, processes, and procedures.
* Monitor our near miss, accident and incident system and Carry out accident investigations.
Qualifications and Experience
* 3+ years' experience, ideally within a life science sector.
* Auditing qualifications ISO 9001,14001,45001or working towards.
* Knowledge of Irish EHS regulations, guidelines, and best practices.
