Project Manager Location: Limerick/Galway, Ireland Overview Our client is seeking skilled and experienced Project Managers to join their high-performing project teams in the Limerick/Galway region.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects including large commercial & mission critical projects Purpose of Role As a Project Manager, you will oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Develop detailed project plans in collaboration with the Contracts Manager and track progress against key milestones.
Lead the project team, providing technical guidance and mentoring as needed.
Plan and allocate necessary staff and resources for each project phase, ensuring efficient teamwork and communication.
Enforce the company's safety protocols, fostering a proactive safety culture on-site.
Oversee all aspects of project quality, ensuring adherence to client specifications and industry standards.
Monitor project budgets, managing expenses and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with the commercial team to achieve project financial objectives.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with the client, providing updates on project status, risks, and any issues that arise.
The Candidate Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
5+ years of experience managing complex construction projects, particularly in the commercial sector with project values ranging from €5m to €30m+.
Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver complex projects.
Technically proficient with excellent numeracy and report writing skills.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders.
Understanding of commercial realities and ability to propose cost-effective solutions.
Proficient in MS Office, project management software (such as MS Project), or similar scheduling packages.
