We are a family bakery based in Limerick, making everything from scratch using local ingredients wherever possible. We are looking for a pastry chef to make a variety of laminated pastries as well as bake and decorate. Experience with pastry is required, and training will be provided. We seek someone with enthusiasm and the ability to work with a sense of urgency.
The role involves very early morning shifts and will be 45-48 hours per week. Work ethic and attention to detail are essential. Fluency in English is also required.
Responsibilities of the Pastry Chef:
* Laminating croissant and Danish pastry each day.
* Managing proofing and baking.
* Coming up with new and interesting ideas each week.
* Almond croissant production.
* Eclair production.
* Assisting our baker with baguette production.
* Keeping the production space clean and tidy.
* Leaving the workspace clean for the next shift.
Yearly increase is negotiable.
