Unlike many other departments within Panasonic, we are a relatively small department, and do a lot in-house, this gives you a fantastic opportunity to learn all aspects of the business and most importantly put your mark on this expanding industry.
Not only will you be a vital member of the team, but you will also get the opportunity to liaise directly with our customers, keeping them up to date with the growing business and the constantly developing product ranges.
You will have the opportunity to be exposed to all the different sectors within the Panasonic Air Conditioning team, from Marketing to understanding the nitty gritty of all things technical, you will never have a dull day in the office.
Role OverviewWorking with our Sales Team and Sales Manager, you will be supporting on such areas as:
Supporting the consultants and the installers on designing the projects with Panasonic solutions.Ensuring customer satisfaction by coordinating with internal and external partners.Following-up projects on Salesforce as well as project pipelines on a regular basis.Providing market information to the Product Managers and suggesting appropriate measures to achieve the strategic company goals.Identifying and building strong relationships with specifiers, design offices, and installers to increase the project business.Coordinating regularly with relevant internal partners to follow up project installations from product sales to its commissioning.Ensuring appropriate documentation of the project pipeline and the progress in the relevant systems.What you will bring to the picture..High attention to detail, innovative, driven and flexibleStrong listening, communication and interpersonal skillsWillingness to travelAbility to work under pressureProblem-solving mentality, and ability to think "outside the box".Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge – additional training will be providedDiverse and inclusive mindsetWhat would give you the edge..A desire to learn and improve your knowledge regardless of your current level of experienceA can-do attitude in sometimes challenging situationsWhat does being an Apprentice mean?You will undertake the Sales Apprenticeship over 2 years, covering all aspects of selling and sales. Your training will be a combination of on-the-job training and off-the-job learning via online classes and face to face workshops with the Education and Training Board. You will be released from the workplace to participate in the online classes and face-to-face workshops.
You will be assigned a dedicated workplace mentor who will be there to support you throughout the programme offering guidance and making sure that all aspects of your learning follow the structured training plan.
This is an "earn and learn" programme and upon successful completion you will qualify as a Sales Specialist and gain a QQI validated NFQ Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Sales. Holders of this award will be eligible to progress within the organisation and/or to higher education programmes.
Entry Requirements to the Apprenticeship ProgrammeAged 18 or overMust have Grade O6/H7 or above in 5 Leaving Certificate subjects (including Maths F2/06/H7 along with English or Irish 06/H7)If you do not have a Leaving Certificate you must have a full QQI Level 5 or higher qualification.International applicants must present the equivalent of a full Level 5 qualification or higherMature applicants aged 21 years and over without a Level 5 qualification but has relevant experience will also be considered following an interview and submission of supporting documentation.
