Job Title: Senior Sustainability Consultant

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about sustainability and ESG to join our team at {company}.


About the Role:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, assisting clients in navigating their sustainability and ESG reporting requirements.

* Manage projects of various scales and types in areas such as carbon accounting, decarbonisation strategies, ESG programmes, resource efficiency, and energy optimisation.
* Apply carbon accounting methodologies for scope 1, 2, and 3 in line with the GHG Protocol.
* Contribute to sustainable development across Ireland.


Key Responsibilities:

* Analyse and present widescale ESG options and solutions to clients' senior management teams.
* Data analysis and data management will also be key, with an ability to understand profiles and trends in data and explain these trends to non-technical people.


Requirements:

* A third-level qualification (Degree/Masters) in environmental science or a related discipline.
* Experience working through ISO 14064, SBTi, or other similar carbon accounting standards.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
* Personable and able to build strong rapport with clients, peers, and authorities.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
