Our client is a leading maintenance contractor who works across Ireland and is one of the leading mechanical and electrical maintenance contractors with a key focus on delivering high class maintenance services to its wide portfolio of clients. The company prides itself on the quality of its staff and winning repeat business from its customers. The company is known to be the maintenance partner of choice in the Dublin area. They require two maintenance electricians to work on various sites across the greater Dublin area.
Your new job
The electrician will look after any electrical issues and provide technical support to clients on various office, educational, and industrial facilities across Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure safety during all work.
2. Complete method statements and risk assessments for all tasks.
3. Perform tasks as directed by the Contract Manager.
4. Provide reports and cost estimates after jobs.
5. Schedule work by coordinating with the Helpdesk.
6. Complete paperwork on time.
7. Prioritize tasks as needed.
8. Communicate with clients and team to ensure work is done properly.
9. Offer technical support and be a point of contact for issues.
10. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems.
11. Respond quickly to equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate will hold a trade qualification and have a minimum of two years of experience, ideally in a maintenance role. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role as it is a client-facing role.
What's on offer:
The successful candidate will be paid the electricians' union rate along with the agreed overtime rates for anything over 39 hours and weekend work. All rates of pay are in line with the SEO. There will also be a vehicle, fuel card, toll tag, laptop, mobile phone, and entry to the pension scheme.
