Catalyx is seeking an Serialisation Support Engineer to work on our customer site in Cork. This is a fully onsite role with a shift component. The Role :The Serialisation Support Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of serialisation projects, ensuring the smooth operation and compliance of serialisation systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.Responsibilities and Tasks :Configure, implement, and maintain serialisation and track-and-trace systems.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., EU FMD, US DSCSA).Perform software updates, patches, and troubleshooting to maintain system integrity.Provide first-line and escalated support for serialization-related technical issues.Diagnose and resolve hardware and software failures in serialization systems.Collaborate with IT, production, and engineering teams to resolve system downtimes.Ensure all serialization processes comply with industry standards and regulations.Support system validation activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ documentation.Assist in audits and regulatory inspections by providing necessary serialization data.Work on system integrations between ERP, MES, WMS, and serialization systems.Analyse production and packaging line processes to optimize serialization workflows.Provide recommendations for improving system efficiency and reducing downtime. Experience and Skills Required: · Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields. · 3+ years of hands-on experience in a packaging manufacturing preferably in highly regulated industries. · Practical knowledge of machine vision technologies or serialisation technologies preferred. · Familiarity with GMP standards and compliance an advantage.
