We’re also committed to helping society adapt to a changing climate taking reasonable care to ensure that our business activities are conducted in an environmentally sustainable manner.Our stats don’t lie… in our annual engagement survey:87% of our people celebrate the diversity in their teams and the wider company.90% of our people feel safe to speak up and share if they’ve made a mistake.91% of our people feel valued and respected by leadership.89% of our people are benefiting and thriving through our hybrid working model.Capital Management AnalystThis job involves supporting, enabling and contributing to effective capital and risk management.You will spend your time supporting the “Financial Analysis and Solvency II Reporting Manager” on the delivery of the core capital management and recovery planning activities in the Company including modelling, assessing and forecasting capital requirements and setting capital risk appetite, as well as tracking of the Company’s solvency position against forecasts.You will collaborate with various departments in the Company and within the wider Group including Actuarial, Risk & Compliance, and other Finance functions, to ensure the integration of capital management considerations within the broader business.You will support the completion of work required for regulatory submissions (Local and Group) on a timely basis ensuring the appropriate sign-offs, as well as responding to ad-hoc queries from the Regulator, the Group, and the Company’s Capital Management and Investments Committee and Board Risk Committee.You will contribute to the continual improvement of forecasting tools and models, as well broader process enhancements, and any updates to regulatory guidelines.You will support the timely output of the models to support both the annual ORSA and Stress and Scenario testing reports, as well as ad-hoc projections required by the regulator or key stakeholders internally.You will have strong analytical and communication skills, and aptitude for working in cross-functional teams. You will have good knowledge of one of Capital Management, Risk and Financial Reporting.Key Responsibilities:Support the delivery of the core capital management and recovery planning activities.Modelling, assessing and forecasting capital requirements and setting capital risk appetite, as well as tracking of the Company’s solvency position against forecasts.Modelling of reinsurance arrangements and other capital management mechanisms.Maintaining strong relationships with key departments and stakeholders to support the integration of capital management considerations within the broader business.Completion of work required for regulatory submissions including Balance sheet walks and preparation (Local and Group).Responding to ad-hoc queries from the Regulator, the Group, and the Company’s Capital Management and Investments Committee and Board Risk Committee.Development and maintenance of forecasting tools and models, including responding to updates to regulatory guidelines.Support the timely output of the models to support both the annual ORSA and Stress and Scenario testing reports, as well as ad-hoc projections required by the regulator or key stakeholders internally.You will also assist the broader Finance function with other activities as required.Requirements:2-4 years post qualified Accountant or equivalent with technical depth and competence through 2-4 years of relevant experience and alternate qualifications.Qualified Accountant or equivalent OR equivalent technical depth and competence through relevant experience and alternate qualifications.One or more of the following at Advanced Level: Capital Management, Financial Reporting, Risk.Knowledge of Solvency II desirable.Dublin based role.RSA Insurance Ireland DAC and its affiliate companies consider applicants on the basis of qualifications and without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital or veteran status, sexual orientation, disability or any other legally protected status.
