A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef at the esteemed Mikey Ryan's Bar & Kitchen, located within Cashel Palace Hotel. Under the direction of Director of Culinary Stephen Hayes, culinary endeavors will be approached as a rich celebration of life, land, and locality.
Role Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role or readiness to progress to a senior position
* Capacity to motivate, train, encourage, and develop junior members of the culinary team
* Ability to lead and manage the kitchen in the absence of the head chef, maintaining identical standards
* Effective management of ordering, leveraging existing systems to minimize waste and enhance Gross Profit (GP)
* Preferably 5-star hotel or Michelin-recommended restaurant experience
The successful candidate will work closely with our Director of Culinary to deliver an exceptional gastronomic experience. Estimated salary: €45,000 - €60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
