Job Description
CubeMatch is looking for a Delivery Lead on the SEPA Program, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of projects that align with SEPA regulatory and operational requirements.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, technology teams, compliance, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful planning, execution, and deployment of SEPA-compliant payment solutions.
This role demands strong project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory knowledge within the payments and banking domain.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the delivery of SEPA-related initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and compliance requirements.Define and maintain a comprehensive program roadmap, aligned with SEPA regulations and business objectives.Coordinate cross-functional teams (technology, operations, compliance, finance) for efficient delivery of program milestones.Engage with external vendors, payment processors, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and successful integration.Oversee requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and implementation phases.Manage risks, issues, and dependencies within the program, and escalate where needed.Ensure thorough documentation and auditability of program outcomes.Monitor progress using Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery models and adjust plans proactively.Communicate program updates, status reports, and strategic decisions to senior stakeholders.Ensure SEPA payment formats (e.g., SCT, SDD, ISO and operational processes are correctly implemented. Qualifications / Essential Skills & AttributesStrong Delivery Leadership: Proven track record of leading complex financial programs in banking or fintech environments.SEPA Knowledge: Deep understanding of SEPA payment instruments, regulatory standards, and formats (SCT, SDD, ISO Project/Program Management: Experience using Agile, Scrum, and/or traditional project delivery frameworks.Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage and influence at all levels, including executive leadership, vendors, and regulators.Risk & Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with European regulatory frameworks affecting payment services.Technical Understanding: High-level understanding of payment system integration, APIs, messaging protocols, and infrastructure.Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex issues under tight deadlines.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
