Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented QA/QC Manager to join our team at the new production facility in Georgia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance and quality control within a manufacturing environment, particularly in the automotive industry, with a strong focus on implementing and maintaining quality standards. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required specifications and quality standards before they are delivered to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
2. Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, materials, and finished products to identify and resolve quality issues.
3. Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality management tools to monitor production quality and improve processes.
4. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions as necessary.
5. Lead root cause analysis investigations for non-conformances and develop effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
6. Train and mentor quality control staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices.
7. Prepare and maintain documentation related to quality control processes, including inspection reports, quality metrics, and compliance records.
8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of quality and safety within the organization.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within a manufacturing environment, with experience in the automotive industry being a significant advantage.
3. Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
4. Proven experience in conducting audits, inspections, and quality assessments.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
7. Proficient in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
