Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Ballyclare.
Main Responsibilities:
* Process supplier invoices, manage accounts payable, and reconcile supplier statements.
* Assist with month-end processes, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
* Maintain accurate financial records, including VAT returns and the Fixed Asset Register.
* Support the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
* Conduct stock and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making.
Requirements:
* Part-qualified or qualified (IATI, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) accounting certification.
* Current proven experience in a finance or accounts role, ideally with management accounts exposure.
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas.
* Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting systems.
* A proactive approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
