What will you be doing?
The Production Data Management Specialist’s primary responsibility is to oversee the systems and processes which receive, transform and load our partner’s data into our internal systems. The Production Data Management Specialist will focus on several key aspects of the business, ensuring the upmost accuracy of Circana’s data on a timely basis. In most instances the role will require close coordination with Circana’s Global Operations teams and occasionally external clients. The Production Data Management Specialist is responsible for tracking internal metrics and communicating results to defined stakeholders. The ideal candidate has project experience in a technical data environment. Experience in a client-facing role would be advantageous.
Overall Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day production of POS retailers and outlets from data receipt to release of final raw data set.
Escalate feed delays and feed quality issues per the Issue Resolution Protocol.
Document and communicate processes, business rules and procedures applied to the data and production process to the business unit.
Ensure that appropriate quality assurance and audit policies and procedures are in place to deliver accurate and efficient data.
Recommend and implement changes that will improve quality, increase efficiency and decrease time to deliver.
Ensure that all processes and procedures are compliant with company policy and operating procedures.
Respond to internal and external inquiries.
Monitor internal software to ensure accurate, timely loading.
Meet with staff members on scheduled basis to discuss status of pipeline activities.
Requirements/Qualifications:
BS/BA or equivalent
1 -2 Years ETL experience.
Proven success managing resources across multiple projects and locations with varying prioritisation and visibility.
The ability to multi-task across numerous skill sets, functional departments, and personalities.
Act as first line triage for data feed inquiries.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Have a strong sense of commitment to the execution of deadline-driven tasks.
Demonstrate excellent communication (written and verbal), decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong PC Skills – MS Office Suite (Access, Power Point, Word) with additional expertise in Excel including, Formulas, Importing/Exporting data, Pivot Tables etc.
Experience with Data Wrangling tools such as Trifacta, AbInitio, Intelligence Suite, etc. would be an advantage.
