Salary Range:
From €102,913 to €127,295

The Department is now seeking to appoint a Head of the Sector Development Unit in the Early Learning and Care and School-Age Childcare Division.
The Early Learning and Care and School-Age Childcare Division is responsible for ensuring access to high quality and affordable Early Learning and Care and School-Age Childcare.
Since September 2022, the Sector Development Unit has led on the ongoing design, development and delivery of the major funding scheme for the sector - Core Funding.
The Head of the Sector Development Unit is a senior appointment at Principal Officer level.
Reporting to the Assistant Secretary of the Early Learning and Care and School-Age Childcare Division, they will be responsible for the management of a unit of approximately 30 staff and will be involved in developing long term strategies to improve the governance and stability of the Early Learning and Care and School-Age Childcare sector.
