Senior Policy Analyst (5-Month Temporary Role)
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to policy development and regulatory oversight in a dynamic environment as a Senior Policy Analyst for a 5-month temporary position at the Higher Executive Officer (HEO) level with our client, a public sector key regulatory body in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct research and analysis to develop evidence-based position papers and submissions on competition and consumer protection issues.
* Monitor external developments to identify opportunities to influence policy or legislative changes.
* Assess and respond to consumer and business complaints as required.
* Engage with national and international stakeholders, including sectoral regulators, government departments, institutions, and public representatives.
* Support the team in achieving business objectives through additional assigned tasks.

Essential Criteria:
* A minimum of three years experience in public policy research or appraisal, including applying research, analytical, and/or econometric skills.
* A third-level qualification in economics, law, social science, or a related discipline (or comparable relevant experience).
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and meet strict reporting deadlines.
* Strong research, analytical, and presentation skills, including experience in conducting primary and secondary research.
* Proven experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including external suppliers.
* Strong teamwork skills with a track record of working collaboratively to achieve project objectives.
* A self-starter with a results-driven approach and the ability to perform under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Work Arrangements:
Location: Dublin 1 Hybrid (2 days office, 3 days remote)
Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:00
