Job Summary
To ensure seamless integration of our operations with current legislation, we require a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the entire quality control and assurance process.
This role involves close collaboration with customer and supplier technical departments to guarantee that all products adhere to up-to-date regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our Quality Management Systems and HACCP system in line with company manufacturing standards and food safety & quality system standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee all quality control and quality assurance functions from end-to-end processes.
* Maintain Quality Management Systems and HACCP system adhering to Company manufacturing standards, Food safety & Quality system standards.
* Review and report KPIs to management on a weekly/monthly basis, analyse trends, investigate any KPI failure and develop & implement corrective actions.
* Investigate non-conformance, deviation, customer complaints and ensure the corrective/preventive action is effectively in place.
* Own preparation and organisation of site for all audits ensuring resolution of previous actions through cross-function teams.
* Ensure that all production samples are QC checked correctly and accurately against specifications.
* Assist in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Carry out internal audits and inspections.
* Carry out product & packaging traceability exercises.
Requirements:
* Minimum four years experience in food manufacturing.
* Foos Science degree.
* BRC and Grocery Retail Food Standard experience essential.
* Food Hygiene certificate (HACCP and internal auditing certificate desirable).
* Proficient in MS office (previous experience of SAP desirable).
* Attention to detail and ability to understand standards and specifications.
* Disciplined in adherence to standards and specifications set.
* Experience in supplier assurance programme / supplier auditing.
