We are a busy, highly reputable and innovative gastro pub on the outskirts of Cork City.
We are looking for a professional and experienced Chef de Partie to join our enthusiastic team.
Responsibilities include:
* Working alongside the Head Chef & Senior Sous Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stocking.
* Ensuring all kitchen systems are in place and continuously being adhered to, including food safety & hygiene, health safety (HACCP), and safe food practices.
* Preparing specific food items and meal components at your station.
* Delivering the standard and presentation of food as required by the company.
* Following directions provided by the Head Chef.
* Collaborating with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service.
* Keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary.
* Improving your food preparation methods based on feedback.
* Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required.
You must be able to work some evenings and weekends.
