Role Overview:
A leading global organization is seeking a Marketing Director to drive brand positioning and lead marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Group Chief Operating Officer, this role will serve as a strategic marketing partner, driving brand awareness and revenue growth through innovative marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Leadership & Team Development
* Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
* Develop and execute a best-in-class marketing strategy, with a strong emphasis on digital channels.
* Establish clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance management frameworks for the team.
Brand Strategy & Market Positioning
* Develop and execute a cohesive global brand strategy to drive market differentiation and growth.
* Adapt global marketing communications for regional audiences to maximize impact.
* Ensure consistent brand messaging across all customer touchpoints.
Demand Generation & Digital Marketing
* Drive brand awareness and market penetration through targeted digital campaigns.
* Optimize digital marketing efforts to enhance lead generation and customer engagement.
* Align marketing initiatives with sales teams to support business growth objectives.
Strategic Planning & Execution
* Lead the global marketing planning process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Develop data-driven marketing strategies to optimize Return on Investment (ROI) and revenue growth.
* Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Budget Management & Performance Measurement
* Set and oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
* Track and analyze marketing spend to maximize return on investment.
* Provide regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
* Commercial marketing experience which must include digital and online, ideally gained with challenger and leading brands in the services sector.
* 5+ years in a senior leadership position, ideally assuming responsibility across multiple jurisdictions.
* You must demonstrate passion about the brands that you have owned, developed, grown, exported, loved, nurtured and monetized.
* While a consummate brand marketer, you can clearly point to outstanding commercial results linked clearly to marketing activity.
* Proven track record in brand development and revenue growth through marketing.
* Experience managing multi-geography marketing teams in a fast-paced, global organization.
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
* Strong leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.
