Facilities Engineering Manager
As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the facilities and processes at our sites to maximize efficiency and quality while meeting customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and manage site facilities and processes to optimize throughput and efficiency.
* Recruit, mentor, motivate, and manage a team of engineers and technicians to maximize plant performance and potential.
* Manage resources to meet business requirements while controlling expenditure on labor, direct expense, and consumables.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of the business.
* Review and adopt best working practices and operational methods to maintain process efficiency and competitiveness.
* Support the management team to ensure compliance with management systems and achieve business targets for quality, health and safety, environmental, social responsibility, sustainability, GMP, and food hygiene.
Qualifications:
* Graduate in an engineering or related scientific discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of management experience leading a facilities and technical department within a manufacturing organization.
* Knowledge of polymers and polymer processing is a distinct advantage.
* Minimum 3 years of experience managing technical capital projects and new product/process development.
