About the Role: EPS Group has an immediate vacancy for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our Service & Repair Team based in the Kildare area. As part of our growing team, you will be responsible for the maintenance activities on municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, drinking water treatment plants and various pumping stations. A highly varied, challenging role providing invaluable exposure to the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Provide day to day mechanical expertise within a water treatment environment Be responsible for maintenance and system support on all process equipment and pumping systems in the Leinster Area Use analytical troubleshooting skills to quickly determine the root cause and all necessary repairs Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in an efficient, safe and in line with current health and safety legislation Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation using our mobile CMMS system Plan work activities in conjunction with the Service Manager and Area Supervisor Key Competencies and Skills: Knowledge of water pumping systems, engine driven equipment (pumps, generators, compressors), pipework installation and pressure/flow instrumentation Experience in S/S and plastic welding an advantage Candidates should be flexible regarding working hours Strong teamwork abilities Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Excellent technical problem-solving skills Committed to maintaining high safety and work standards Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Trade Full Driving Licence Compensation Package: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and career growth CPD accredited employer A collaborative and supportive work environment Flexible working options, dependent on location and role requirements See company website for more information on the benefits of working in EPS Group Wewelcomespeculativeapplicationsfromindividualsofalllevels.
