Hunter Savage is working in partnership with an industry-leading supplier on the appointment of an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee the logistics operation, distribution, and transportation across the Island of Ireland.

This role requires strong leadership, supply chain management, and relationship-building skills to manage both in-house teams and external logistics partners effectively.
You will work from home 3 days per week and be required to be on site 2 days per week in either Belfast, Dublin, or Cork.
Operational Management:
* Manage inventory, stock replenishment, and maintain optimal storage conditions.
* Develop and manage delivery schedules, route planning, and load optimisation to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Third-Party Haulage Management:
* Manage relationships with third-party haulage companies to ensure high-quality service, fair optimal pricing, and operational efficiencies.
* Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements with haulage providers to optimise cost, service quality, and performance.
* Lead, motivate, and manage internal Logistics Support teams across different regional locations.
* Provide training and development opportunities to ensure adherence to safety standards and operational best practices.
* Conduct performance reviews and offer constructive feedback to improve individual and team performance on an ongoing basis.
What you will need to succeed:
* 8+ years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on third-party logistics and contract management.
* Proven track record of managing logistics operations across multiple locations.
* Strong contract negotiation and vendor management skills, with experience working with third-party haulage providers.
* Proficient in logistics and inventory management systems.
* A strategic, dynamic individual who drives continuous improvement and change.
* Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial management.
* Results-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Proficiency in using systems and MS Office Suite.
