Sri Yantra Limited is the Head Office Accounts office for a Hospitality Group, the office is located in Mullingar. The role is Assistant Accountant.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller and Directors, your tasks will include:
1. Performing the day-to-day processing of supplier invoices and credits.
2. Performing the daily banking process and maintaining bank reconciliations.
3. Supplier statement reconciliations.
4. Follow up on supplier/head office queries in a timely and efficient manner.
5. Maintaining internal reports and filing.
6. Prepare and complete month end reports.
7. Preparation of year end Audit Files.
The role will also involve performing general administration duties along with supporting and covering other members of the team.
YOUR KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Essential Criteria:
1. Accounting Technician Qualification / Part Qualified Accountant.
2. Strong computer skills using Excel and e-mail at a highly proficient level.
Desirable Criteria:
1. Minimum 3 years Accounting experience.
2. Knowledge of accounts payable maintaining ledgers.
3. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
4. Ability to work on own initiative and within a busy team.
5. Strong organisational skills.
6. Ability to work with numbers in a competent and confident way.
7. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
8. Team player. Contributes positively to the achievement of team objectives.
