Planner
We are seeking a Planner to join our client's team in Shannon, Co. Clare on a six-month fixed term contract basis.
The Role
The Planner will report to the Operations Manager and possess strong project and time management skills.
* Create, process, scan, and archive purchase orders
* Support production and external customer needs with the supply chain team
* Collaborate with all departments to comply with company projects
* Work with Lead Planner/Buyer for schedule-related activities
* Provide daily feedback to customer service
* Advise on deliveries and plan job scheduling
* Deal with vendor & customer contacts via phone & email
* Liaise with production to obtain answers to expedited items
* Work with Lead Planner/Buyer to ensure delivery of KPI's and weekly reports
* Data entry on ERP system and running work benches
* Liaise with Production/Engineering to send Purchase orders to vendors
Requirements
* Degree in Business related discipline
* Proficient in Excel, any ERP systems used an advantage
* Ability to read engineering drawings an advantage
* Establish and achieve continuous improvement goals
* Effective communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal
* Excellent organisational skills
* Proactive, self-starter, who must be able to work independently without supervision
* Ability to prioritise work effectively and multiple tasks
* Positive attitude and be motivated by the role
* Operate to the highest ethical, professionalism standards with a strong work ethic
The Offer
This is a six-month fixed term contract with a competitive salary depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The role is based fully onsite in Shannon Co. Clare and hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm.
