About the role An exciting opportunity has opened for an Investment Team Business & Communications Manager to join our Investment Team on an 18 month fixed term contract. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter and experienced in supporting a professional services team on projects, business administration, project management, preparation of marketing materials and events. As well as support the Chief Investment Officer to manage the business and thought leadership activities. This role will provide a stimulating and dynamic work environment, interesting and varied projects plus scope for personal development. In the role, the successful candidate will: Report into the Chief Investment Officer Be responsible for supporting the Head of the Investment Team and senior leaders manage the business administration, supporting on marketing, events, communications and preparation of presentations Be responsible for cross team and department communications, including updates to intranet, website and client portal through content management systems Support on investment team projects – reporting to Gov IC on progress Manage and developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the firm Work closely with colleagues you will ensure that work is properly executed, documented and concluded in compliance with our quality and corporate guidelines Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role Brief designers and working closely with colleagues in marketing on BAU and ad hoc marketing efforts Help with consistency and timeliness for the Investment Committee input and that terms of reference are adhered to Ensure best practice standards are maintained RequirementsAbout you We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:Self-starter essential, taking ownership of key tasks and driven to deliver the required result Strong attention to detail for reviewing client comms. Minimum 5 years work experience in business environment on administration supporting senior executives. In addition, the ideal is experience in financial services in a business and / or professional services context. Good analytical skills, project management and detail oriented. Strong team player with the ability to manage several projects, meet deadlines and manage senior management expectations. Works effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including writing articles, client marketing documentation and presentations. Editorial capabilities for reviewing communications produced by the investment team. Strong IT skills essential including Microsoft applications (TEAMS, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project), Zoom and other webinar events online tools, CMS, OMG for communications and marketing. Qualifications: Business and or communications/marketing related degree qualification ideal. Background in financial services favourable.
