We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to join our Michelin Plate awarded Carriage House team. Located just a short walk from the Manor, The Carriage House is an all-day eatery combining five dining zones with flexible, seasonally-inspired menus and highly acclaimed signature dishes. We are looking for a candidate who will work in collaboration with the leadership team to enhance the guest service we deliver with a strong floor presence and welcoming approach.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering superior service and maximising guest engagement
* Gathering guests' feedback, resolving issues and recommending improvements
* Organising and supervising shifts
* Remaining hands on throughout the entire shift and assisting as needed
* Holding the team accountable to our standards while remaining hands on and leading by example
* Ensuring the team is well educated on menu items
* Controlling operational costs and identifying measures to minimise waste
* Training new and current team members on the agreed sequence of service
* Monitoring compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
Successful candidates will have experience in a similar role, a strong leadership presence, and be able to work in a pressured environment with high expectation guests. They will also be fluent in spoken and written English, have extensive knowledge of food and beverage, and be commercially astute with solid financial awareness.
