Role Overview:
As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing electrical systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading electrical equipment to ensure seamless production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, machinery, and control systems in a manufacturing environment.
2. Diagnose electrical issues and perform troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
3. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to optimize efficiency.
4. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
5. Work closely with engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and electrical regulations.
7. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and production lines.
Key Requirements:
1. Qualified Electrician with a relevant trade certification.
2. Years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
3. Strong knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, and electrical components.
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
6. Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.
