Civil Engineering Project Manager
Join a family-run Civil Engineering & Groundworks Contractor in the North Coast of County Antrim as they expand their business and seek a skilled Project Manager.
The ideal candidate will oversee multiple projects across Northern Ireland and the UK, specialising in groundworks packages and sustainable construction solutions for ground stabilisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
* Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
* Provide technical expertise in soil stabilisation techniques and methodologies.
* Review project designs and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Supervise and mentor project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
* Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.
Additional duties include allocating resources effectively, monitoring project progress, implementing quality control measures, conducting site inspections and audits, identifying potential project risks, and addressing any issues or challenges that arise during project execution.
A successful Project Manager will possess leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on civil engineering or construction management. Travel may be required, but could be limited to 1-2 days per week or less.
