About The Role:
As a member of the IT Operations team, first in EMEA, you will be entrusted in providing exceptional technical support for our end users while serving as a technical resource for the team. Reporting directly to the IT Operations Manager, you will have direct impact in scaling and establishing best-in-class support, elevating IT operational processes, as well as fostering positive relationships with functional stakeholders. Primary focus of this role will include, but not be limited to, improving efficiencies in critical areas such as IT policies, IT governance, and IT compliance.
What You'll Achieve:
1. Serve as the primary IT operational engineer for EMEA from our Dublin office headquarters
2. Provide additional IT triage support in other global regions (APAC and North America)
3. Act as a servant leader and empower end user engagement through self-help mechanisms, including knowledge articles and user guides
4. Manage end user lifecycle and adhere to IT Security compliance standards
5. Manage procurement lifecycle in EMEA and assist facilitate in other geographic regions as needed with cross functional stakeholders
6. Collaborate with other members of IT with the day to day operational tasks, and work towards adding efficiency with existing process
Skills You'll Need to Bring:
7. 3+ years experience as IT support or similar experience
8. Proven experience in administrating Google Workspace, Zoom, Okta, Slack, and other SaaS applications
9. Proven level of comprehension with endpoint management tools (Kandji, JAMF, InTune)
10. Proven level of comprehension with network fundamentals (connectivity, VPN and printing)
11. A high degree of confidence troubleshooting hardware or software in a predominately macOS environment
12. Experience working with AV infrastructure for onsite and virtual events
13. Ability to communicate effectively in order to partner with both technical, non-technical users, stakeholders, and vendors
14. A passion for tackling high complexity tasks, collaborating with others, and developing creative solutions for technical challenges
Nice to Haves:
15. Experience owning inventory lifecycle management
16. Experience working with external business vendors and contractors as a liaison
17. Experience with troubleshooting Windows or virtual environment (VMware, Parallels, VDI)
18. Experience in PowerShell, Bash, Python, GoLang, GitHub
19. IT Security and compliance focused mindset
