Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership: Lead and manage a local team of Bridge engineering professionals.
2. Business Development: Drive business development and manage tender bids for professional services contracts.
3. Resource Planning: Conduct short, medium, and long-term resource planning to ensure project success.
4. Design Oversight: Provide design input and oversee the delivery of structural aspects of projects.
5. Project Management: Manage medium and large-sized projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are delivered.
6. Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with internal and external parties, including clients and stakeholders.
7. Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior team members.
8. PSDP Duties: Assist in undertaking the duties of the Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP).
Minimum Requirements:
1. Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
2. Relevant experience as Bridge / Senior Bridge Engineer, on Irish projects post-graduation.
3. Chartered Bridge Engineer (CEng, MIStructE, or equivalent).
