Are you an experienced Controls Engineer looking for a dynamic role in the Life Sciences, Pharma, or MedTech sector? This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global team, driving automation and control system projects from concept to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, program, and commission automation and control systems (Levels 1-3 of the ISA pyramid).
2. Lead PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, motion control, robotics, and vision system integration.
3. Work closely with OEMs and project teams to ensure seamless system implementation.
4. Troubleshoot, test, and validate automation solutions to meet regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, GMP, GAMP).
5. Stay ahead of emerging control technologies and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Computer Science.
2. 5+ years’ experience in control systems within Life Sciences, Pharma, or MedTech.
3. Expertise in Allen Bradley PLCs & FactoryTalk, with experience in Siemens TIA Portal a plus.
4. Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus).
5. Familiarity with cybersecurity principles for SCADA systems.
6. Experience with GAMP 5, validation, and automation change control.
