As a Pricing and Forecasting Specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating all relevant costs and risks associated with serving gas or electricity customers.
Your role will involve issuing customer-specific quotations and mass market tariffs in a timely manner, supporting the sales teams in executing their market strategies.
Additionally, you will forecast consumption for all existing customers on a weekly basis, maintaining the integrity of the quotation and forecasting processes through audit trails and comprehensive documentation.
You will ensure the smooth flow of data throughout the end-to-end process to protect margins.

Your key responsibilities will include preparing transparent custom pricing offers for gas and electricity reflecting the costs and risks, developing cost-reflective tariffs and support their transfer onto billing systems, generate detailed reports on costs, revenue, and margins for actionable leadership insights, and update and validate demand forecasts for gas and electricity.
Acting as a control point in quotation and forecasting processes, you'll ensure necessary authorizations are in place.
You'll contribute to hedging strategies for risk management and enhancing profitability, perform ad hoc analyses for strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities within customer segments.
You will be continuously improving reporting tools and dashboards for data-driven decision making.
Additionally, you'll implement changes required by market developments or regulatory shifts and lead and participate in projects supporting business objectives including cross-functional initiatives and process enhancements.
You will become a subject-matter expert on pricing and market-related topics
About you:
A degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail, and advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.Able to demonstrate commercial judgment and acumen, along with strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective engagement with senior management and external customers.
A proven ability to work well with and maintain positive relationships at all levels within the organization, take ownership of issues with a solution-oriented mindset, and be highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks.
Excellent time management skills are essential, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently while meeting strict deadlines.
An understanding of energy markets (sales and wholesale) and associated retail products is desirable but not essential.
