Job Summary:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Trainee Accountant will be involved in a range of accounting tasks while working towards a professional qualification.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
2. Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
3. Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
4. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
5. Maintain and update accounting records and files.
6. Assist with audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
7. Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial documentation.
8. Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and forecasting activities.
9. Utilise accounting software for data entry and financial analysis.
10. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Finance Department.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Skills and Experience:
1. Experience with accounting software is a plus.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
