About the role
An opportunity has arisen for a Assurance Senior Associate to join our Wealth Management division. In the role, the successful candidate will:
* Assist with 1LoD “First Line of Defence” for Risk Management monitoring and testing of adherence to Group Policy and regulatory requirements.
* Input into development of annual 1LoD Wealth Management Assurance Plan.
* Work with 2LoD “Second Line of Defence” and 3LoD “Third Line of Defence” Risk Management stakeholders across the organisation regularly.
* Assist with delivery of Wealth Management Assurance training across the business to make positive improvements and valuable change.
* Assist with remediation action tracking and action closures from Assurance output.
* Assist with Risk Control Self-Assessment process and be efficient in Control Assurance Activity Testing.
* Experience in working in a financial industry sector with a regulation and regulatory environment of MiFid/ESMA/CBI.
* Experience in carrying out Assurance Reviews and Audits in a Wealth Management function.
* Experience with Risk Management Frameworks and implementation of a strong control environment.
* Experience with Advisory and Discretionary Investments is desirable.
* Assist with Quality Assurance Training to the WM Department where required.
Requirements
About you
We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
* Stakeholder management, communication and report writing skills.
* Positive work attitude and contributes to team player environment.
* Experienced in multitasking, delegation of own workload, can work independently when required, and takes advantage of working on their own initiative.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience working in Operations preferably in a Wealth Management or Financial Services environment.
* Strong advantage to individuals with Anti Money Laundering experience and operational background.
* Excellent business writing skills.
* Excellent with data management information and carrying out detailed analysis reporting.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, formatting skills.
* Adaptive to making efficient change for business improvements.
