Applications are invited for the role of Check-Out Operative / Administrator on a Permanent, Full-Time basis with Value Centre, Galway.
Duties include:
1. Ensuring accurate, professional and speedy processing of customer orders through checkout
2. Handling money efficiently and accurately
3. Communicating effectively with customers and staff
4. Projecting a professional image at all times
5. Ensuring compliance with the Wholesale Standards Programme
6. Dealing with customer queries in a professional manner
7. Monitoring and reporting shortages in either stock or cash
8. Co-operation and participation in all Health & Safety and Security requirements
9. Assisting with customer sales
10. Assisting with replenishment when required
11. Other associated duties as requested

4. Have the ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative
5. Possess product knowledge
