About Your New Job
* Evaluates external process technologies and strategically identifies opportunities to implement them.
* Serve as a key communicator from the customer to the entire team.
* Develop processes, materials and solutions through in-house and out-of-house development paths.
* Ensure manufactured products meet the company's expectations in terms of quality, cost, and time.
* Provides technical guidance to other engineers and technicians.
What Skills You Need
* A graduate in Engineering/Technical field with typically more than 5 years' experience in a medical device manufacturing environment.
* Experience with similar medical products, such as catheter delivery systems, is an advantage.
* Extensive product and process development skills in the medical device industry are required.
* Strong knowledge of materials and process capabilities for catheter-based medical devices and implants.
* Strong working knowledge of and ability to use statistical techniques, six sigma, and DFSS methodology.
* Proficiency in SolidWorks, ACAD, and FEA is an advantage.
* Ability to work within the existing team and be fully motivated to achieve and demonstrate best practices in line with company objectives.
* Excellent verbal communication skills to enhance collaboration and written skills to prepare, execute, and communicate plans and reports.
* Strategic planner with successful scheduling & execution results.
