Key Responsibilities
The Specialist Scheduler plays a vital role in the Operations Planning Team within the Supply Chain Organisation at Amgen Dun Laoghaire.
The team is responsible for providing daily and weekly schedules/plans to the Vial & Syringe Filling Plants, Inspection Plant & Packing Plant, as well as planning the activities of the Maintenance Technical teams that support those Plants.
The Specialist Scheduler coordinates Manufacturing, Inspection & Packaging planning activities to optimize material flow and processes in support of internal and external customer needs in the Manufacturing Organisation.
Specific Areas of Responsibility:
* Creation and continuous review of finite schedules (plan) for Manufacturing, Inspection & Packaging through the translation of the Master Production Schedule.
* Building strong relationships with key stakeholders such as Supply Chain Planners, Maintenance Process Planners, Calibration, Validation, Process Development & Engineering to appropriately schedule commercial & non-commercial requests (for line or equipment time such as PMs, calibrations, validations etc).
* Reviewing new production demand and its impact on the current plan.
* Effectively communicating the production plan to internal departments highlighting any changes to the plan as required.
* Highlighting and resolving any issues that arise in the plan in a timely manner.
Requirements:
* +5 years' experience in a similar position is essential.
* Experience in GxP environments essential ideally in an Aseptic Manufacturing Plant, Inspection & Packaging.
* Experience in an Engineering/Sciences/Analytics/Supply Chain role is required.
* Experience in a Pharmaceutical or Biologics Manufacturer with a lean manufacturing-environment is an advantage.
* Demonstrated experiences of problem-solving and process improvements activities.
* Proven project management skills with demonstrated ability to execute and manage complex projects and programs.
