Overview:
Harper Finley have partnered with a leading organisation to hire a Director of HR & Learning & Development on a full-time, permanent basis in Shankill, Co. Dublin, with hybrid working options available. This is a senior leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape HR strategy, drive organisational development, and oversee Learning & Development initiatives in a growing and impactful organisation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic HR plans to support workforce planning and business growth.
* Lead the HR and L&D functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices.
* Oversee employee relations, including disciplinary matters, grievances, and trade union negotiations.
* Drive talent management, succession planning, and leadership development programmes.
* Implement HR policies, performance management frameworks, and employee engagement strategies.
* Lead change management initiatives to support organisational objectives.
* Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective HR and L&D practices.
* Represent the organisation at external meetings and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources.
* Minimum 7 years’ experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
* Strong experience in a unionised environment, including trade union negotiations.
* Proven ability to manage complex employee relations and drive organisational change.
* Experience in budgeting, HRIS systems, and policy development.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Benefits:
* Base salary of between €80,000 - €100,000
