Health & Safety Advisor - Clonmel
We are seeking a qualified experienced Health and Safety Advisor for the Clonmel area. This is a 4-6 month contract.
As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will lead the implementation of a professional culture across all sites, ensuring best-in-class health, safety, and environment practices. You will develop, monitor, and enhance the Construction Stage Health & Safety Plan with the site team, ensuring all parties adhere to set standards through regular reviews and audits.
You will be responsible for:
* Carrying out audits/inspections of Sisk workplaces as coached by the BU HSE Manager.
* Assisting the HSE Manager in preparing a Health and Safety report for the BU MD at internal meetings.
* Notifying the HSE Manager of potential inadequate Health and Safety cover.
* Providing Health and Safety guidance and practical solutions to tender and prequalification teams.
* Attending start-up meetings with your line manager and Sisk site teams.
* Delivering relevant training.
You will have:
* IOSH/NEBOSH qualification (preferred but not required).
* At least 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
* At least 3 years of experience as a Health and Safety professional.
* Experience in Temporary Works.
* Internal Auditor experience.
* Strong organising skills, time management, and performance management experience.
