Transdev operates Dublin Luas Tram System since 2004. In 2019, Transdev takes over the entire Maintenance management. Please visit the Business France website to ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria. Responsibilities The Lean Engineer reports to The Operation Excellence Lead inside the Lean department. The scope of work will be working on and running parts of Lean Projects using the DMAIC structure and following out improvements,The main responsibilities for this role will be part of our supply chain project: Supply Chain Strategy
1. Define clear objectives and align them with overall business goals.
2. Determine the appropriate supply chain model (, lean, agile, hybrid) based on the nature of your products and market demands.
Risk Management
3. Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain or disruptions in the supplier network.
4. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize the impact of unforeseen events.
5. implement MRP (minimum Reorder Point).
Financial Interest
6. increase stock accuracy buy 10%
7. reduce stock value by 1 million euro
Inventory Management
8. Optimize inventory levels to balance costs and customer service.
9. Utilize demand forecasting and data analytics to better predict and manage inventory needs.
Collaboration and Communication
10. Foster open communication channels within the supply chain network.
11. Implement collaboration tools to facilitate real-time information sharing among all stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
12. Implement a culture of continuous improvement through regular performance assessments and feedback loops.
13. Monitor Key performance indicators (KPI’s) and use the data to identify areas for enhancement and innovation.
Required Education and Experience:
14. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field
15. Preferably 2 years’ experience in process improvement, quality management.
16. Lean Management or Project Management experience would make a difference.
17. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
18. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
19. Outstanding communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
20. Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) would be a plus but is not mandatory.
21. Stock Management or procurement experience would be a plus. But is not mandatory.

30. Three Depots: Luas Redcow Depot, Luas Sandyford Depot, Luas Broombridge Depot.
