Enva's Contaminated Soils division provides disposal options for contaminated soils from the construction and site remediation sectors.
We process hazardous soils at our EPA Licensed Portlaoise facility to recover sand, gravel and other aggregates.
With the recent acquisition of Walshestown Restoration Ltd near Naas, Enva Soils Division can also now offer environmentally friendly recycling of non-hazardous soils, for a complete turnkey recycling solution of all classes of contaminated soils.
Due to the continued expansion of the Contaminated Soils Division, we are now recruiting a Project Engineer to assist in the management of operations in addition to capital investment projects, maintenance systems and compliance within a highly regulated environment.

This role may suit an experienced environmental scientist, construction management, engineer or agricultural science professional looking to work within the environmental, or waste sector.
Key Responsibilities o Assist in the day-to-day management of soil washing plants at the Portlaoise and Walshestown (Naas) sites o Ensuring operations are carried out in accordance with internal procedures, improving those procedures as necessary o Identify new technologies and operational systems which improve the process efficiency and quality of the output materials o Assist in various related projects within the division, including bulk export and customer site activities Skills, Knowledge and Expertise This role may suit a Graduate engineer from a mechanical, manufacturing or agricultural engineering background, although other similar qualifications will be considered.
We are looking for someone who has up to 2 years' experience in a similar or related role.
Primary degree in either Engineering, manufacturing, agricultural or equivalent Proven ability to quickly understand the technical and operational issues facing the Contaminated Soils Division Good report writing skills, proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience in the use of Autocad is an advantage This role requires initiative, drive and dedication and offers significant potential for rapid personal growth and development in a rapidly growing business in the environmental and sustainability space.
