Responsibilities
* Day-to-day management of the Finance office
* Accurate accounting records and financial reports for the Director of Finance
* Production of monthly Profit & Loss accounts and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Ensuring timely, accurate and consistent reporting
* Drive accountability for controls into relevant departments
* Assisting with Internal Audit & External Audit
* Effective program of Property Audit
* Management of Financial queries from internal and external parties
* Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
* Oversee and review bank account reconciliation on a weekly basis
* Prepare and file VAT returns as required
* Management of weekly and monthly payroll including analysis and control
* Implementation of cost control measures and overhead management
Requirements
* At least 2-3 years experience in a similar role
* Expert level attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
* Excellent finance, accounting and analytical skills
* Knowledge of computer equipment and Microsoft Office
* Previous experience with hotel systems including Opera and Micros
* Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
