You will be responsible to:
Perform maintenance on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical).
Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to increase reliability, capability and yield.
Perform equipment condition analysis (during preventive and unscheduled maintenance).
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems/failures.
Prepare technical reports to document equipment modifications and maintenance procedures.
Ensure all plant equipment including steam boilers, chillers, air compressors, and water treatment plants are maintained.
Ensure all maintenance work is performed in compliance with GMP directives.
Troubleshoot complex problems related to equipment failure and recommend the best course of action for effective repair.
Manage capex projects to completion, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
Support the technical development of the team to enable them to plan day-to-day priorities and site maintenance work.
Participate in definition and assure follow-up of key performance indicators (KPI) for utilities equipment performance, as well as for outsourcing services.
Assist in ensuring that current compliance issues and trends, both internal and site-wide, are critically evaluated and training is provided where appropriate.
Manage day-to-day operations of the utilities department including regulatory inspections, contractors, and CAPAs.
Participate, control, and correct budget activities.
Promote good maintenance practices in the area.
Coordinate with other areas to fulfill maintenance plans.
Guarantee that cGMP rules and procedures are respected within the area, and ensure that outsource contractors acknowledge internal procedures.
We are looking to recruit a Candidate:
University or equivalent qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or similar scientific field (mandatory).Minimum 6 years of experience in large scale utilities area.
Extensive experience in machinery maintenance, preferably within a regulated environment.
Knowledge of GMP requirements with respect to maintenance activities and of cGMP and safety standards applicable to the pharmaceutical industry, with the ability to solve complex problems.
Fluency in English.
Computer literate with good working knowledge of the MS Office package.
