Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our global electronics and medical equipment manufacturing site in the Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of automated electro-acoustic lines to achieve our production plan and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform complex machine operations with high precision to produce specific parts of different products, adhering to quality standards.
* Monitor machine output on each shift and ensure all cells are running at cycle time, meeting specific OEE targets.
* Conduct structured handovers to the next shift, reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors, managers, or relevant departments as needed.
* Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols in the area, reporting any observations or issues.
* Maintain a 6S culture by monitoring and leading by example, ensuring production areas remain clean and well-maintained.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience within an automated production environment.
* Third-level qualification in a relevant engineering course or QQI Level 6 trade qualification.
* Experience in pneumatics, electronics, and PLCs.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
