Chartered engineer
In partnership with our client, a leading engineering company, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chartered Engineer to join their Large Projects Team. This role is integral to the successful delivery of specialized projects in Bund Testing & Relining, Drop Testing, Visual Inspections and Sign-Off, tank and manhole testing, and rehabilitation works. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities:
• Project Oversight & Leadership: Manage and oversee multiple large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
• Crew Coordination: Assign tasks and provide guidance to crews, ensuring efficient use of resources and maintaining high-quality standards on all worksites.
• Client Relationships: Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify challenges, and implement solutions to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed project reports, including updates, costings, and technical compliance, for internal and client review.
• Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure all projects meet health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Competencies & Skills :
• Technical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of bunds, tanks, relining, testing methodologies, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Project Management: Strong ability to manage large-scale projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
• Leadership: Proven capability to lead, motivate, and manage field crews effectively.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve technical challenges efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: High standard of accuracy in work execution and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or related field).
• Chartered Status: Recognized Chartered Engineer certification (e.g., CEng).
• Experience: Minimum [2 years] of experience in a similar role, particularly in large infrastructure or environmental projects.
• IT Skills: Proficiency in project management software, CAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Driving License: Full, clean driving license is essential
