Fundraising Manager/Head of Fundraising
Based: We welcome applications from those with the right to work in Ireland. The role offers the option of hybrid working.
Contract: Full-time permanent contract
Salary range: €55,000 to €65,000 per annum, depending on experience
Work hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Job Overview:
The Fundraising Manager reports to the Chief Executive Officer. As part of a small but energetic and enthusiastic team, the Fundraising Manager will lead the fundraising strategy of CBM Ireland.
We are looking for someone motivated in taking ownership of their fundraising strategy with an interest in diversifying fundraising approaches in a small but ambitious organisation.
Our current fundraising approach is focused on a high-quality direct mail programme while attempting tentative approaches in digital marketing.

We are looking for someone who can see the bigger picture but is also able to do the nuts & bolts of the role in a small organisation, working with, as well as leading, a fundraising team of three.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Manage CBM Ireland’s public fundraising through regular appeals to committed givers, acquiring new givers and growing the portfolio of regular givers.
* Oversee and support two fundraising officers, providing direction and support.
* Work closely with the Advocacy Manager and the CEO in setting the direction and coordinating CBM Ireland’s communication strategy.
* Liaise with colleagues across the CBM Global family, contributing to international decision making.
* Develop, lead, manage and monitor CBM Ireland’s individual giving strategy and activities.
* Manage a large direct marketing programme, developing creative with external suppliers.
* Maintain and grow existing donor base and lead on donor acquisition to achieve annual targets and KPIs.
* Ensure a culture of quality service to donors by maintaining high standards of donor care.
* Develop and monitor annual budgets, implementing adjustments as necessary.
* Analyse results, interpret trends, and deliver strategic marketing direction.
* Input into development and delivery of our digital and social media strategy.
* Ensure all activities comply with relevant policies, codes of conduct, and regulations.
Person Specification:
CBM Ireland welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds and people with lived experience of disability.
Experience:
* At least four years’ solid, demonstrable experience and successful track record at mid-senior level in fundraising.
* Experience managing a high performing direct mail programme.
* Experience in setting up and overseeing a (monthly) regular-giving programme.
* Proven experience in managing resources, leading and motivating staff.
* Proven ability to work on own initiative, manage budgets, deliver results and achieve targets.
Skills/Competencies/Personal Qualities:
* A collaborative leader with the vision to inspire and motivate your team.
* Strong financial management skills.
* Excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
* Technical knowledge and experience in direct marketing and digital platforms.
* Excellent organisational skills and experience of managing a varied workload.
* Proficiency in using Excel and donor database/CRM systems.
* Excellent written skills and a creative flair.
Qualifications:
* No qualifications necessary though demonstrable continued professional development in Fundraising is required.
* Qualifications related to fundraising are an advantage.
