Deputy Store Manager - The Range, Waterford Our client, a leading and rapidly expanding UK retailer, is seeking to appoint a Deputy Store Manager to join their team in Waterford.
As Deputy Store Manager, you will play a key role in the store's leadership team, reporting directly to the Store Manager.
You will be responsible for motivating, inspiring, and developing your team to drive sales, enhance customer service, and improve overall store performance.
This role requires a proactive and results-driven retail professional who leads by example, maximises sales opportunities, and continuously seeks to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: Lead by example, inspiring and motivating colleagues to optimise sales and deliver outstanding customer service.
Oversee store operations, ensuring the store is well-presented and effectively merchandised to maximise business performance.
Support the Store Manager in driving efficiency and productivity across all store departments.
Coach, mentor, and train retail colleagues to maintain high operational and service standards, taking corrective action where necessary.
Ensure all team members are fully equipped with product knowledge and key retail skills to enhance performance.
Continuously review store operations and implement strategies to improve performance and exceed targets.
Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages growth, development, and teamwork.
Manage stock levels, replenishment, and compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and operational procedures.
Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in a retail management role, ideally as a Deputy Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a similar leadership capacity.
A strong leader with a coaching management style-clear, open, and supportive.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, motivate, and develop teams.
A commercial mindset, with the ability to drive sales, analyse key retail metrics, and improve overall store performance.
Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with a positive, can-do attitude.
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets, with the ability to influence and drive change.
